PAM MARIN-KINGSLEY is a writer , and graphic artist/book designer who lives in Bradford, MA. Her company, Electric Forest Publishing LLC, offers design, editing and publishing services in the US, and The Derwent Press offers similar services in the UK and DarkHart Press is her other independent imprint.

Publisher’s Philosophy:

Pam seeks to publish the best novels from established authors, as well as to discover exciting new talent and as-yet unheard voices.

“We want fresh, unique stories and perspectives. We want to experience the emotion of the words— the human, the deep, the silly and the profound.Our aim is to publish novels that take the reader out of now and transport them somewhere else. We appreciate multicultural voices as well as literary—so long as the language is fresh and not stilted.  We are not interested in novels that have religion as a central theme.  Otherwise, surprise us.”

EDITORS

We use a number of different editors at any given time. Monica J. O'Rourke is an example of the kind of talent we seek. She is currently finishing the edit of Melissa Tantaquidgeon Zobel's Fire Hollow.

Monica J. O'Rourke has edited numerous anthologies and magazines, and works as a freelance copy editor and proofreader. She’s written two novels, Suffer the Flesh, and Poisoning Eros (with Wrath James White) and a short story collection (Experiments in Human Nature). Her stories have appeared in dozens of magazines and anthologies, including Postscripts, Nasty Piece of Work, Fangoria, Flesh & Blood, Brutarian, and Nemonymous. She lives in New York City with three rescue cats and is working on a new novel. Monica is proud of the fact that Lisa Mannetti’s The Gentling Box, which won the Bram Stoker award for Best First novel, was the first book she edited for Electric Forest Publishing LLC though the company's, DarkHart Press imprint.

 

ARTISTS

Raven's Wing Press uses many artists to produce the covers for its books. We are always interested in seeing the work of freelancers and are very open to recommendations from the authors we publish.

One such Artist is William (Bill) Andrews (Dancing Shadow) who allowed his art to be used for the cover of Fire Hollow by Melissa Tantaquidgeon Zobel. An accomplished artist, Bill is a tribal elder of the Mohegan Tribe in CT.
